Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. Our office is an integrated clinic where we meet the needs of individuals with primary care, mental health, and therapy under one roof. We strive to foster an environment where practitioners are dedicated to wellness, healing, and the care of the whole person.
The candidate will be working alongside other Therapists, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, and Family Nurse Practitioners to provide this holistic approach. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, and couples, focusing on various mental health issues, and behavioral challenges. This role requires a strong understanding of clinical counseling practices and the ability to create a supportive environment for clients.
We are committed to clinician growth—LPC Residents are welcome, and board-approved clinical supervision is provided.
We provide payer credentialing and contracting as well as all aspects of office support.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct individual counseling sessions to assess and address clients’ mental health needs
· Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans
· Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
· Provide grief counseling and emotional support for clients coping with loss
· Utilize evidence-based approaches, to promote positive behavior change
· Address gender-related concerns with sensitivity, inclusivity, and clinical competence
· Support individuals with developmental disabilities to enhance independence and quality of life
· Implement behavior management strategies to help clients achieve therapeutic goals
· Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive care
· Stay current with clinical best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
Qualifications
· Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
· Active Virginia licensure as a Therapist or Counselor (or eligibility for Resident in Counseling licensure)
· Strong experience in individual counseling, grief counseling, and behavior management
· Familiarity with medical records management and coding standards.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration abilities
· Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Integrated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a clinical setting, particularly in urgent care and outpatient environments. This role involves providing high-quality mental health care to patients, including those in senior care and dementia care settings. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of psychiatric conditions while adhering to established medical standards.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness, adjusting as necessary.
Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to patients and their families.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate medical records using Athena electronic health record systems.
Stay informed about current practices in psychiatric care, including workers compensation law as it pertains to mental health treatment.
Participate in ongoing education and training related to psychiatric nursing and mental health issues.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with psychiatric certification.
Experience in clinic settings, particularly with urgent care or outpatient services is preferred.
Knowledge of medical records management and standards of practice in mental health care.
Familiarity with senior care considerations is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations ages 12 years and up.
